It was a whirlwind of a week. It was the first time all my siblings had been together in over 2 years. Gordon compares being with my family to eating a strict diet and then just purging on sugar- it's great but you get really sick after a while (late nights, up early, go all day, no naps for kids, and trying to spend every moment together). I love my family and am so glad we get along so well. Athena is happily married and now everyone has gone home. Changes are happening and it's hard to adjust. Emily is moving to Tennessee, right by David, for Darren's work. I will really miss her and her cute family. Christina and her family will be moving this summer- hopefully a little closer. It feels like when my parents, Athena and Christina all moved away at the same time. And then we were alone. I wish my family could all live closer, but it is not to be. We talk often on the phone and we always end with saying "I love you". And we do.
